Mameluke Sword

Mameluke Sword

Today's U.S. Marine Corps officers' Mameluke sword closely resembles those first worn in 1826.

Marine Corps history states that a sword of this type was presented to Marine First Lieutenant Presley O'Bannon by the Ottoman Empire viceroy, Prince Hamet, on December 8, 1805, during the First Barbary War, as a gesture of respect and praise for the Marines' actions at the Battle of Derne.

Mamluk Plan B

This post is about the current conflict in the Middle East and called the Mamluk Plan B

I have listened to the honourable John Key Prime Minister of NZ publicly calling on New Zealanders to support the Allies in the Middle East Crisis.

Recently a well spoken well informed member of the public service a leader in her community with known political leanings made comment to a question of whether somebody with an indigenous background should be brought in to deal with any issues in a matter of a similar but lesser ethnic dilemma.

We are all the same

Her response was that she felt it was unnecessary. If I didn’t know the woman I would have known she was a western client by that answer. In her mindset we are all the same. She was raised a westerner and is not able to think bilaterally.

My WVP – we are not all the same

Some relevant examples in point to do with food :

Question/s

If I opened a kina ,a sea urchin straight from the ocean, divide with a bowie knife straight down the centre of the animal it is still alive through its eye and laid it on a plate could you eat it?

If I knocked a kangaroo on its head with a boomerang then threw it on an open fire as is in due course it would be cooked, pulled it from the fire and waited till it cooled then ate it like barbecued chicken. Could you eat that?

How about lambs? Dock their tails chuck them in the red hot coals of an open fire as with the ‘roo’ dish finger lickin’ goodstuff.Could you eat them?

Answer

Possibly not, unless you have an acquired taste for it.Yet they are normal cuisine to people of other cultures in this case the food of Maori (NZ) Koori (Australia)

Conflict without resolution

How many countries how many nations how many people have tried to squash this conflict with little to no success?

How can W E help?

NZ doesn’t really have an army an airforce and a navy.
Skeleton staff only
It’s a bit ridiculous I know but I think we only have a couple of old boats probably skeletal as well.
I know we have some magnificent flying machines from WW1 & 2
We do have a tall ship & Team NZ
Do we even have a submarine or an aircraft carrier?

Well besides all that we have excellent man power maybe 50 max

Next Question

Do we even know who they are?
Do we have a specific country to go to?
What’s the timeline?
Whats the job?
Whats the job description?
Who is in charge?
Who’s paying or can we borrow some planes boats aircraft uniforms guns or peace sticks ,shit why not throw in some grundies!

The big question is it one conflict or a leadup to more

Guys lets be realistic

How can W E help?

We have squillions of sheep and cows apples and kiwifruit maybe supply food act as a medi vac country.

Think about it.

Index of terminology used and their description

The Clients -the people involved in this conflict, the friendly and the unfriendly natives

We shall not be using the current terms given to the unfriendly groups for one reason-they already have an identity a culture a heritage and an ancestry they have ancestors so ISIS and the other terms are contemporary recently newly formed names & logos. These people already have a long history we shall come to that later.I noticed the President has come to a similar conclusion and he is correct the fact that they claim to be Islamic and protecting their religious rights is a misnomer and is a distraction from the underlying problem. We all came from ancestors there is no history of an ISIS group or the others. So we can assume it’s a marketing technique logo etc. as they steal children women and men and have formed their own slave army.

Plan A

The Western Plan

Plan B

The Tribal Plan
Indigenous

How does a tribal plan an indigenous plan differ from Plan A the western approach?

To understand the underlying problems and causes you need to know what the problem is.

W h o are T H E Y?

ISIS etc is not an answer. it is why you are getting nowhere.

My WVP

Its like getting on a bus and when the driver asks you for your destination you answer “I don’t know” and at present the people of NZ are asking

Where are we going?
Who are we going to do (x) with?
What with?

Yes I agree we cannot stand back and just watch.

Perhaps we better think about it before we catch a bus to nowhere which is what everyone else appears to be doing

Thank you for joining us today.
